I bought the cimex package less than a year ago and can say that I am thrilled. This system has opened so many doors for me. One thing I noticed on most carpets I clean it has a brightning effect. Now for residential I have only used HWE. With fast dry times being the USP of my company I was wanting to know more about the product Punch. I have used the search function and was wondering if anyone here uses this product for most of their HWE needs. I was wondering that if this product is similar to Relesit DS than could you approach a residential job with with just these steps? 1. prevac as I always do. 2. do not prespray but run punch through my RDM. this would both scrub the product into the fibers and also extract some soil and moisture at the same time. 3. Post bonnet. This would remove any remaining stubburn soil and further improve drying time. Any left over residue would do its thing and the carpet would dry in no time. 4. collect check and boost ego for a job well done. Any thoughts?

Tracy you could follow the steps you've outlined with Punch and it will work nicely for you. I would still plan to pre-spray however. You need the stronger concentration of surfactants to loosen the embedded soil from the fiber. After pre-spraying, your RDM would work well with Encap-Punch.
