Cimex on residential carpet

Would someone enlighten me on the proper use of a Cimex on residential carpet? I know that fiberplus pads work great on commercial carpet and even berber. But there are a number of options, such as the soft brush heads for the Cimex. What's the safest, most effective way to use a Cimex on residential -- brush, pad, bonnett? Thanks for any insight.

David,

The soft brushes are the way to go on softer plush carpets. http://www.excellent-supply.com/proddetail.asp?prod=4807%5FBrushes&cat=12

We have quite a few customers out there using their Cimex's on residential carpet.

Cimex would not be my first choice for residential, look at the X-2 machine better suited for residential work

i've used the Cimex with FP pads on several resi type plush carpets...some apartment / rentals and some in a commercial setting that were plush. all came out great.

i will use my soft brushes tomorrow for the 1st time in a split home (2 apartments), along with the FP pads. i will be post-bonneting some of the soiled areas.

this place is trashed, about as bad as i have seen. i will take before and after pics and hopefully wont be too ashamed to post them

thanx --- Derek.
