encap furniture

What are the pros and cons to encapping furniture vs. HWE? I just HWE a big fluffy couch, and Im thinking that using the rotary brush attachment for a power drill that rick sells would just bind right up and get caught up in the fluffy parts( armrests, etc.)BUT..it sure would dry quicker.

Does anyone JUST encap furniture now? Im a little apprehensive about encapping furniture because there are so many types of materials.

Thanks!!

Joe

Joe,

We're mainly using the ROTA brush to encap large commercial upholstery jobs. Quick and simple! HWE is still the king for residential fluffy couches like you mentioned here. However the ROTA brush can be used to do a nice pre-scrub before HWE on residential upholstery.

I've had excellent results whipping realisit into a foam, and then applying the foam with a horsehair brush to the furniture, and then proceed to buff the furniture with a white towel. Customers are very pleased. Give it a try.

Wow Ades.. looks great
It almost looks like it came out of a 'smoke damage' job or heavy smokers of wood stove users. else wise, they are just plain 'nasty'. LOL

Continued Success.
