Tile brush question for all you mex owners

Just recieved them today!I tried putting them on but it seems as though I'm really weak and or dense.Has anyone else have this problem?Is there some kind of break-in tip I need to know?

I just got done with a nasty job at the MVD.
Had never been done in 20 years. Looked great
and I used the same ones you got. But a guy
here that just started selling cimex has some
black stiffer ones. Said thats what he would
use on the tile and grout. Seemed a little to
aggressive for 20 year old grout. Anyone else
ever seen the black brushes? Thought they would
be good for concrete though.
