the thread on signs below got me thinking, does anyone mark their equipment in case it gets stolen so you could recognize it? ie : scratch your initials in an inconspicuous area.

nother idea is to make sure you keep a record of all serial numbers...something i've never done lol.

any other ideas?

thanx --- Derek.

Never have. I've only had one thing stolen, a brand new Viper wet vac. Was doing a store a couple blocks from a high school during homecoming, shoulda locked the trailer. Small town, and it was never seen again. Dunno if marking it woulda helped.

We do not mark the equipment because I like it looking clean and neat. That is why I wanted a cool looking label. I do have to keep all the model and serial numbers on my equipment for insurance purposes.

for example David, you could inscribe your initials on the inside of your solution tank, or underneath a pad-driver on the decking, or etc... so noone can see it but you know it's there is what i meant lol. i guess with the serial number your all set, but most thieves remove serial numbers first thing.

thanx --- Derek.
