Using diluted Releasit the next day.

Can a batch of diluted Releasit DS be used the next day if left in the tank?

Worked on an office building this morning and will be returning tomorrow morning to do the remaining floor. Had to leave to do the family thing. Left about 2.5 gallons of juice in the cimax tank.

Thanxx...

Next day is not a problem, there's no change at all. If it sits a few days just recharge the solution by adding some additional fresh detergent to the tank.

i leave it sit for days at a time with no noticeable difference in results. then i'll toss my bucket heater in while im pre-vac'ing and the solution is steaming by the time i'm ready to start Cimex'ing.

thanx --- Derek.

So i guess its ok to suck out the remaining juice and put a bottle and cap to it and shelve it until next time?

That is a good question. I never thought about that before. We leave whatever we have unused in the tank all the time, we have even let it sit a week and then used it.

Just pull the surgical hose at the bottom of the tank and drain it into a container and yes, cap it.

Water does bad things. Don't let it sit around.

I pull the feed line from the bottom of the tank, attach a hose and drain the tank into a sprayer to use as prespray for the next job.

good idea George.

i've tried pulling the hose out the bottom of the tank, doesn't seem like it wants to come out too easy. so instead i pull the hose out of where it goes into the base...comes out ALOT easier there for me. then i have a rubberband on the left handle that i wrap around the trigger and let it drain via the gravity feed into my solution bucket. for my solution buckets i use an empty 5 gallon pail with a twist cap that Bane-Clene sells with their cleaning solutions.

thanx --- Derek.

Down the Drain

February 21 2005, 8:15 AM

In the old days, chemical salesmen would tell their customers to pour some down the drains as it helped keep them open (LOL) and they could sell more chems. Isn't it refreshing to do business with someone like Rick, who is honest and has integrity.
