Gum remover

I do not know why this is but one of my techs had been telling me for a while that 50/50 Encap Clean seems to remove most gum from the carpet. So last night we were out cleaning a medical supply house and there was one piece of gum so I tried it. The 50/50 mixture of Encap Clean did remove the gum. I do not think that it was as effective as a real gum remover but it did work. Just thought it was interesting.

Maybe that explains why it seems easier to remove gum after I run over it with the machine.
