| Rick,
Which is better and/or cheaper. Releasit spotter or mixing the encap it according to what's on the the jug? |

Mark,
Mixing spotter like it says on the jug is the cheapest alternative and it's effective for many types of spots and soiling conditions. Most of the fellows will use the dilution for "Spill Stain" treatment as a general spotter. I've heard of many success stories with this mixture. Encap-Spot takes treating spots a step further. It's a general spotter that can handle a wider variety of spots including ink, lipstick, many colored spots, urine, red wine, etc. Plus it's also a very effective odor counteractant for the smelly and nasty stuff.

We use both. We use the Releasit DS in a 50/50 solution and we also use the encap spot. We use them both on our Butler as spot removers. Although the Releasit Encap Clean DS mixed 50/50 gets out must things there are some things that will only come out with the encap spot.

Rick, what is your suggested dilution of Encap-Clean DS for use as a spotter? I have been mixing at 25/75 being that it is double strength. I have been having good results at this mixture. Do you recommend a 50/50 mixture with the DS?
Thanks,

Richard,
25/75 is what we recommend with Encap-Clean DS.
This is strong enough to get the job done.
Kevin's suggestion of 50/50 usage will work fine for an extra strong spotter.

Sorry, I confused everyone. We use a 25/75% solution also. Which used to be 50/50 on the original Encap clean. We still call it 50/50 around the shop and so I typed it wrong. Sorry.

No problem Kevin, I thought I might be mixing it wrong. I knew it worked great at 25/75 and thought, "could it work better" LOL
Rick, thanks for your perseverance in perfecting encapsulation chemistry. You have set the bar very high for your competitors and completely changed the way I clean carpet.
It can only get better from here and I truly appreciate your work.
