In the past couple of weeks discussions about the X2 machine have turned disrespectful. And regretfully I've been a party to these discussions. Truthfully, it's very hard for me to remove the emotion from this totally crappy experience. Yet at the same time the rules of this board apply to all, including me. Therefore I'd like to publicly apologize for losing balance and not holding to the rules. So this evening I decided to do some house cleaning. The X2 posts have been archived. I'd like to thank you all for your participation on this board. Let's all continue to strive to maintain a professional caliber of discussion on this forum.

Rick,
I am glad we are back to cleaning dirt instead of throwing it around on this board.

Well done Rick, very appropriate considering what was being bandied about.
Hopefully, all of us can now return to our cleaner image and forum.
Cheers,
Shorty. |

It was not all bad. I learned a few things about some people and their products - some whom I will stay away from because of their attitude and unprofessionalism. But it is time to let it go and get back to doing what we do best - sharing our problems, our solutions, our evaluations, and our experiences.
Maybe along the way we will even have a few laughs.

I stand and applaud both your decision to admit you "lost" it and your ability to apologize for your part in the discussion. |

Thank you all for your kind expressions. The whole thing had turned ugly. And it still gives me a knot in my stomach when I think about it. Like I said above, it's been hard for me to remove the emotion from all of this. But I feel it's better to let it go than to continue belaboring the issue. Thanks again for the replies above and by phone.

I agree with Bo. I will never do business with some of those people. They really showed their true colors.

Rick, I'm glad the board will get back to what it was, a great place to learn w/o all the crap. Usually every thread here has somthing of value in it. Even though I'm not a full time carpet guy, I get ALOT out of this forum.
