I don't know..............
The eBay page you are looking for can't be found. It may have moved, or it may no longer be available. Please try one of the options below:
& that was from a simple cut 'n paste.
But I won't lose any sleep over it.
Cheers,

The yellow machines are the current models. The yellow models have been produced for about 15 years. The manufacturer of Cimex "Truvox", maintains all the parts for the current models. However the previous gray, or brown models were built by the previous owners of the Cimex brand and the machines haven't been supported with a full parts line for some time. There may be a few common parts between the new models and the older models, however many of the parts are no longer available. On the flip side, little ever goes wrong with a Cimex. So if the machine runs good, the bargain price may just be worth going for. It would be kind of like buying a Model-T Ford on E-Bay - if the car runs it might be worth picking up. But since Ford doesn't stock parts for them you'd know that you're on your own if you need parts. I think the age of the machine may be scaring some folks away. But if it's in good shape at a good price you may just want to consider it because it will probably serve you well for a while longer.

Very well put RG. I have been talking with several repairs shops in the UK about my older Cimex machines. Also have spoken with Truvox about the older machines. The only thing I might add is that many of the USA equipment manufacturers only offer support for a short time after they discontinue making a machine. Truvox couldn't be expected to offer support for machines made decades before they even purchased the company. That said, the basic triple planetary counter rotating disk assembly looks basically the same on a new machine as it does on a 40 year old machine (Truvox dated one of my machines at 30 to 40 years old).
A mechanicaly inclined, resourceful person could probably keep one of these machines going forever. But allowing for the possibility that such a person may not end up with it, I started the bidding very low. But, 36 people have bookmarked/are watching the sale so I am sure there will be a flurry of last second bidding.
You want to be totally happy and secure with your Cimex? Buy a new machine. |

Thanks, guys. I'll try to snipe it for a decent price if possible. |
