hard residue?

I got a call to look at a job I have been encapping for about a year. Underneath some of the chair pads there is a white VERY hard residue. Can this be from running the Cimex up against the chair pads and it working its way underneath?

I suppose that a years worth of encapping in an area that can't be vacuumed (like under a chair mat) could leave residue. Normally that the detergent residue would be removed during the normal vacuuming cycle. Of course it's also possible that this is coming from something else in the building. But if it is a residue from Releasit, you can just clean it again with the Cimex and Releasit and the residue will resolublize. Releasit's crystallized residue will dissolve when it gets re-wetted, and it will re-crystallize when it dries. That's one of the nice features of Releasit - an encap build-up can not occur.

Thanks Rick - this stuff is so hard even a pocket knife can't break it down - I did run over it with the Cimex and it got a little better.
