She had a ball. Best date we've had in a looong time. Just kidding. She's never been on a commercial carpet clean before and she was real interested in seeing it work. She was amazed at how fast it went and how easy it was to handle. We have a new commercial carpet care convert! Needless to say, she was even more elated when she found out that for that 35 minute job we made $125.00. I just can't figure out why she looked better in her shorts than I did in mine....hmmmm. Oh well, I'll research that one and see if I can figure it out!

I really enjoy working with Nancy. (Not so sure how much she enjoys working with me) Man my wife has cleaned more carpets and floors than you can imagine. She's a good sport. But we always try have fun together when we're working. And it sounds like your wife had a good time tonight too. Ben Franklin said... "Marriage is the most natural state of man, and... the state in which you will find solid happiness." Ben was a wise man. A good marriage is a good thing. Glad to hear that yours is good too.

Good eye, George! That was the idea, to see if folks were paying attention. Seriously, thanks Rick. We do have a great marriage. I couldn't ask for any better. I was married before for 10 miserable years. The 10 years I have now been with Melinda have gone by way too fast!

&, like Nancy, she also jumps on the 'Big Yella' as quick as she is able to.

It's nearly a fight to see who is going to use it.

The novelty hasn't worn off for her............yet.

So now she can, clean leather, clean mattresses, use the Mex; hhmmmmmmm, I wonder if she is about to take over. LOL

My new wife of 3 years also goes with me when she can, Being a 4th grade teacher she don't have alot of free time . We can go to supper, cruise the mall, than work for an hour or so, more like a night out for both of us than a job. Maybe its as much fun for her as it is for me when I help her correct papers at night. Important thing is we are together. Since starting to encap, really aint much work compared to HWE with a porty.

The ex used to say "I have a job, you do your own". Was a long 18 years........

Enjoy life guys, since going through this bout with cancer, I've figured out there's lots more important stuff workin your ass off.

I liked your post.

Nancy and I have usually managed to have FUN whenever she goes to work with me. We'll normally stop for dinner, or an ice cream, or something. It's the little things that keep the romance in a marriage. Having FUN together is important IMHO.

You guys have given me a good idea.From now on all first dates are "working dates".The income can off set the cost of the evening.I don't think I will push it too far on a first date,small jobs only.If she takes my calls after that I have a keeper.

Another good thing on 1st date to try is tell her you'll pick her up at 3 am after your jobs done, to see if she will work around your schedall. You should use the "3rd date" rule for making her help.
