ISCO, the first meeting...

May 26 2005 at 10:39 PM
Rambo

International Society of Cimex Owners, with all these posts about "diamonds" "powder" "marble" "granite" "machine weights" and etc. my head is swimming. I think it is time for all Cimex owners to come together at a location in Florida (somewhere near Rick's place) for fellowship and learning. Anyone interested in becoming a "Charter Member" of ISCO?

What a cool idea Ray. And I like the moniker too, ISCO
What would you guys think about something like this?
I'd consider putting something like this together.

Florida Again?

Hey Rick and Dave,
I like the idea of marble polishing , and working with other professionals, with the Cimex , I just hope it would be better than my last trip to Florida....

if i could get away to florida for a week i would. but with no employees to do our nightly office cleaning i can't.

sounds like a GREAT idea tho. for as cool as this forum is in sharing ideas and learning new techniques (such as marble cleaning with the Cimex), talking with you folks in person would be the ticket!

hopes to meet everyone in a couple years at a ISCO meeting --- Derek.

Thanks for your offers of help in putting this thing together, of course you could expect that of Cimex owners. Rick is the man to put this thing together, I'm not, I am just an idea man. But I will do whatever Rick ask me to do except get the chimp hats for all members,LOL But seriously this is a great opportunity for all of us. It will certainly be "International" when Shorty shows up from Down Under. This is one individual I want to meet. I have read every post he has written. Lookin foward to it Shorty.

I agree this sounds like it would be great, and also get a chance to meet face to face with fellow Cimexer's.

Best to all!

ISCO

May 27 2005, 3:28 PM

I'sco, (Aussie slang, I's go) to Florida for ISCO meeting.

Cool bananas.

Would there be any possibility of a Connection to Clearwater??

Another tax deductible trip, I love it.

Think of the amount of information to be gleaned from the guys doing different types of work using only Mex's.

And all gathered in the one place, focused only one one piece of equipment that is no bigger, hotter or better than anyone else's.

Awesome, to say the least.

Cheers,

Shorty.

Sounds good. Maybe we could even launch a marketing program for the members in order to promote cimex cleaning. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.

ISCO = ISCOol

May 27 2005, 10:17 PM

Would I have to go all the way to Rick's, thats like three blocks away?

Actualy, I think it would be a great idea. Rick when you get a chance give me a call.

This is a great idea. I would be there. Just another excuse to go to Florida. My family would love it.

Well Rick, I think that with this overwhelming response, we all should definitely meet together somehow. I for one would love to fellowship with other brother cimexers and learn from them, and share experiences, too. Even if it wasn't an "official" meeting of sorts, but even a get together at someones home or office would be an awesome idea. Keep us posted on how we can get something going....

Consider it done.

Some things that we could cover are:

~Tips and tricks for cleaning carpets with the Mex

~Marketing to commercial clients

~Marble and stone care

~Hanging out bragging about your Cimex accomplishments

I'm thinking that maybe we could tack it on in front of or at the end of next summer's Connections Conference on Clearwater Beach (about 25 miles from our office). Many of you will already be in the area anyway.

Or we could do it sometime during the winter months - which would give all you snow birds a chance to enjoy some warm Florida sunshine.

Let me know what you'd like and we can start working on putting it together.

I'SCOming to Clearwater

Excellent idea.

Good timing for those travelling longer distances to be able to attend two premier events one after the other.

Cheers,

Shorty.

I would much rather see a winter meeting in sunny Florida, a year from now is too long to wait. Please remember my age. I have to do everything NOW. I am not as old as Gary Heacock but right behind him.

That cracked me up Rambo.

Maybe we could have a mini meeting at the Connections in Vegas and then the grand meeting at Connections in Florida. That way we could all go to Rick's shop and see first hand how excellent customer service is performed on a daily basis.
