Advice loooong!

Tad

Hello everyone,
Hope all is well!

I just came back from taking a look at a job that I gave a carpet cleaning quote via fax & e-mail & phone yesterday and they called to say I had won the bid AGAIN THANKS RICK(I had been in the building once before) an office building 25000 sq. ft. but the total carpet was more like 20,000 sq. ft.

The place is about 6 months new and the carpet was is made with Dupont Teflon built in, there were some stains that the janitorial staff removed (yeah right, made worse) some were YELLOW like the color of a mustard stain on this beige carpet (color loss) a couple of stains were and I quote “removed with a degreaser”

And now in the place where the stain was / is a HARD black stain. The next room that they showed me was a large coffee stain like a coffee decanter spilled. And the cleaning company said they cleaned it. (Great Janitorial Company)

The customer knows that I will do my best and try and repair the damage (by cleaning) that has been done, also that I will not be held responsible if the yellow stains are not remedied. Get this the so - called cleaning company only vacuums one (1) time per week. The dust on the edge & baseboards was ridiculous.
The rest of the place will be cimexed.

The tools at my deposable are my Yellow Cimex (my pads from Rick, just arrived today) plan of action and my carpet extractor with heat 0-400 psi and an upholstery hand tool that I have used for spot removal. Hoover conquest & backpack vacuum.

I was thinking of using chemspec textile rinse on the stains with the hand tool and chemspec coffee stain remover for well the coffee stain (lol)

Now I have removed coffee stains with the Releasit products in the past also on a beige commercial carpet.

Of course all of us carpet cleaners have cleaned a customer nightmare stains we get another CHEERLEADER and I will be taking over this account for there janitorial needs soon.

Any suggestions, opinions, tips, etc are welcome.
Thanks
Tad

degreaser?

You mean we should not use degreaser on a carpet for stain removal.

To think all these years I should have been using a degreaser and I should have been using bleech.

That cleaning service that your acct has sounds like some of the janitors that I work with at our public school.

Good luck and let us know how it went.
