| Will be cleaning upstairs carpet tomorrow for residential complaining of cat pee but believe it's Tom cat spew and probably not on the carpet. Explained the science behind encap with Releasit and that's the method they chose.
What's my odds on success in containing the odor with Releasit alone if it's in the carpet?

George, do a search here on Tea Tree Oil.. Good stuff. I mix up about 30-40 drops per gal of water and flush the area with a water claw. Tea Tree oil is not a cure all, but seems to work most of the time. Out of 9 jobs I did with urine issues I have only been called back once for re-do. Aslo besides being an excellent doedorizer, it also disenfects, and kills most kinds of bacteria. We also use it around the house for minor cuts, sunburns Etc.. Hope that helps??
Almost forgot.. Aslo try Encap Spot for less potent odors. Encap spot has more tea tree oil in it than the regular puch does..

Well said Mr. Garrett
Encap-Spot will likely take care of cat vomit.
I say "likely" because there are always variables.

Guess it's a 50-50 shot with just Releasit?

By "spew" do you mean that super funkolicious turbocharged urine mix that Tomcats spray to mark their territory? If so, that stuff is like ten times funkier than straight urine. And they don't puddle pee it, they spray all over.
Might take some wire and sell some Tomcat to Mildcat operations.
So 50/50 would be generous, IMNSHO.

Initial application seems to have taken care of the odor. Think the litter box was more to blame considering they have 2 cats. Suggested they use the crystal litter instead of clay.
Many stairs to climb with Cimex. Got that knee bend hip pull method of climbing down pat. 1st 3 steps back down is the fun part.
