| Rick i checked their site out, which do you use and why'd you choose that model? i never knew pda's were also phones.
everything i do now is hand-written and not very organized. i have ACT, but don't use it hardly ever. would a B.B. pda make it easier or help me be more clutter free? or does it just depend on the person?
anyone else using a BB. pda?
thanx for any advice --- Derek. |

Derek,
I suppose it depends on the person.
I have an older black & white Blackberry model.
Here's why I like it...
We use Act! for our customer database and Blackberry links with it. So all my customer data is with me wherever I go. I sometimes forget stuff, but not with the Blackberry. I just put an appointment in the Blackberry and reminders alert me ahead of time. It also has superb e-mail capabilities. This is useful because our phone staff can send me an e-mail message when I'm out of the office. I can then take care of the call or I can forward it to one of the girls in the office. The e-mail is SUPER handy! It also has a not so hot "text based" web browser - but it comes in handy when I need to search for something when I'm away from a computer. It has a full keyboard so plunking in text follows the same format as the computer keyboard. It has exceptionally good battery life. And it's built solid as a rock. The Blackberry completely blows away the Trio Handspring that I used to use.

Hay Derek
I also have a BB, the one just up from Rick’s. There is also a newer one. In addition to the points Rick made mine is also a Nextel so it has Direct Connect along with everything else. I’m not quite the computer safphisticate as Rick so I don’t use it no where near to its fullest capacity but I am trying to use it more. The calendar with the reminders is starting to come in handy, it just takes time. Over all I like it very much.

Kinda like my Palm PDA. Has voice record, 1.2 camera that does really well, and takes video. Built in bluetooth.
