Encap chemical for hwe rinse?

August 13 2005 at 11:57 PM
Kevin Kermeen

We clean a retirement home 24000 sq. ft. with cimex/releasit every 3-6 months. The facility has a walk behind hwe machine that they use on a bi-weekly schedule. Is there a encap product to rinse with that I could sell to them?

Thanks, Kevin

The Encap Punch is an amazing product for exactly that application. They'll be very impressed.

And remember, we all know it's impossible to remove 100% of the soil that is in a carpet. With regular extraction chemicals, the little bit of soil that was suspended but not removed is simply allowed to reattach to the fiber as it dries or wicks up to the surface. With the Punch, the soil that is suspended but not removed is then encapsulated, so that it can be "EXTRACTED" once it dries with the regular vacuuming so even more soil is removed.

I'd suggest checking out Encap-Punch.

Encap-Punch cleans very well. It contains the CRYSTALON3 encapsulating polymer. And it contains Soileze protector. We've made a couple of minor modifications to the formula since it was first released. The cleaning chemistry has been dialed in and it's performing nicely.

Encap-Punch can be used as a pre-spray/traffic cleaner. It can also be used as a rinse detergent in the extractor. And it also performs very well in bonnet/OP applications.

Why should a person consider an encap product for HWE? It enables you to provide a more complete cleaning. HWE is a terrific cleaning method but we have to recognize that we're still leaving soil behind in the carpet. The dirty water that we see in the extractor's waste tank is the same water that we've left in the wet carpet. So the advantage of cleaning with an encapsulating rinse detergent is that what we're leaving behind in the carpet can continue to be vacuumed out of the carpet with subsequent vacuumings. And that is why encapsulation will provide us with a more complete HWE cleaning.
