| On a call to a loss adjuster today, when the other phone rings.
The L.A. can hear it and tells me to answer it, he'll wait.
"Halloo, ken I spik to da managa plis"??
"Sure, just a moment"
Put the phone down and went on talking to the L.A.
He thought it was hilarious.
Five minutes later, I picked up the other phone and it was dead
Fair dinkum, some people just got no patience.

Whenever I get a call from a telemarketer and they ask for the person in charge. I always tell them that he is here and could you hold on for a minute. "they always say sure I'll hold" Then I have a preset station on my radio set to classical evevator music. I just put the phone up to the receiver and walk away for 10-15 minutes.
They usually hang up after 5 minute..but I can hear them Hello..Hello anybody there...

anything with an unknown or 1 800 doesnt get answered.
