| I am sending some info to an Arby's Roast Beef.
They have a carpet in the eating area. It's rather small maybe a 30x30.
What is a good sq ft price for the job?
I am bad at setting prices and I usually end up eating it.
Should I use a min price amount or a sq ft amount.
I don't want to short myself nor do I want to bid to high if I get the call.
Thanks

Whats up Joe.
I do a line of Arbys locally here.
They are all about this size,, between 900-1000 sq ft.
I get 150.00 for one..
140 for the other. It is done 2x per month.
You can figure about .10-.15 to be safe.
I use both HWE and encap on every job. All traffic lanes are HWE'd and the not so bad areas are encap'd.
I hope this helps.
Takes about 90 mins per store. Sometimes 2 hrs if I am in a lazy moood.
I move tables, replace them, etc. The whole package.. (plastic bottom legs)

Hey Joe,
The smaller the job. The higher the price. I have a couple of jobs that are 3,000 sq and I charge 23cts a sq. Then I have Jobs that are 10,000 + and I charge 10cts a sq. I always try to make 100 an hour. thats my goal. If you can do that job in 1 1/2 hours $150 is good. If Like you said some days we are lazy and it can take 2 hours I would charge them 175+. I hope this helps

But the Keywords there "we're lazy''
thats not their problem.
sometimes, it may be an hour and 45 minutes.
maybe though another time it may take an hour and 15 minutes.
Do you discount then>??? NO
so dont charge more when you go over.
Challenge yourself to be efficient and productive regardless if we are having a 'lazy day'.
pricing, on a maintenance plan, IMO, is the law of averages.
Joe. Hey, I have a Butler TM>
I mech agitate with the Cimex since I have it on the job.. and I use a product called Advantage Blue,, which I get at a distributor in Indy. PH 9, great prespray. but there are lot of good ones out there.
