Help for ceramic tile

I have been asked to clean a ceramic tile floor that was cleaned a while back using Klenzstone #4 which I understand is very strong. Evidently the product was left on too long before rinsing. Six months later it resoils easy and seems to hold the soiled mop water more than usual. Also, it gets a lot of shoe prints that won't mop off. It appears that maybe it was slightly etched. Klenzstone says that their frost remover and a srcubbing machine will put the shine back on. Could this be polished with marble powder and the mex with a good rinse? Open to all suggestions as how to restore this so it will be more managable. Thanks for your help.
