I have had a very brief chance to see and run the Carpet Avenger Scrubber. WOW!!! This is really an amazing piece of equipment. Yes you’ll want to run it in larger, more open areas but it is very maneuverable, even in tight places. It is also very transportable. With no tools at all the solution tank just lifts off, that fast. With two or three practice runs one guy will be able to load and unload this machine in or out of a full size van - - - with no ramp. I’ve been loading and unloading propane buffers for years and have shown countless employees how to do it effortlessly. Unless you’re planning on leaving equipment on site; transportability is a big question. That is not an issue with this machine. This is a very high production unit. If you have large open areas you’ll love this machine.

Will the Avenger be available with a driver block for regular pads?, It looks like ya could use it for stripping floors too. Would make it more price friendly if ya could double duty it.
It looks like the base is alot bigger than the pad driver?, ok, machines not getting close to walls is a pet peeve of mine.

hiyas Brian
i think around the perimeter of the pad are brush bristles. no clue how close they get tho.
most anything is not going to touch the wall, short of a HWE wand or a extension brush on a CBM.
thanx --- Derek. |

Yes Brian, the Carpet Avenger can also be fitted with a standard 21" pad driver. That would make it functional for floor stripping and floor scrubbing. But in that case it would become the "Floor" Avenger wouldn't it?
The Brush/Driver that it comes with has a 2" thick row of bristles surrounding the 17" pad in the center. It gets pretty close to the wall leaving only about an inch un-scrubbed.
It is no problem whatsoever to switch out the Brush/Driver to a standard driver. I've discussed that already with the manufacturer - not a problem. We could send it to you either way. Another option might be to have one of each. Since you're familiar with propane buffers, you already know how easy it to un-thread a driver and thread it back on. So switching between the two drivers would be a cinch if you decided to go that route.
The deck of the Avenger is a few inches longer than a typical propane buffer deck. The added length accommodates the reduction pulley/belt gearing. The extra space on the longer deck is also used to hold the ShurFlow pump.
The 7.7 gallon tank is another cool design feature. The tank rests on top of the scrubber and it can be removed without tools, quick and simple. This makes for easy tank emptying and machine loading.
And Brian as you know since you run propane buffers, a propane machine's greatest asset is its impressive torque. It's the same with the Avenger, plenty of torque! Just as a high speed propane buffer is several times more efficient than a comparable speed electric buffer, the Avenger can lock down on the carpet and scrub with authority. That's why it had to be called the "Avenger"
