Encap-Spot & Challenger

I found a great way to use "Encap Spot" this weekend. *New to me anyway

I was doing 10,000 sq ft medical building which had never been professionally cleaned. Building is around 8 yrs old. Cimex and DS did a great job through out the facility with only a few exceptions. Deep ground in stains under the desks and some 'tar' stains in waiting rooms! Years of rock salt, mud and such ground in.

DS with the Cimex cleaned it but left dark stains in these areas, 50% mix didn't improve the situation. I really didn't want to break out my portable HWE, So I took a bottle of encap spotter. Sprayed the stained areas and let it sit for a few minutes. Then used my Challenger with a DRY pad. I tried damp, and wet, but the dry pads did the best job.

Presto........perfectly clean carpets.
The manager came in as I was finishing and saw the soiled pads and couldn't believe the carpets came cleaned. She loved the job.

Thanks to this board, Rick and Ecap products. I do mostly residential work and would never even considered trying this with HWE. In case you wonder, I have a 1/2 HP Challenger and Cimex. Combined with encap DS and spot, you can't beat it!

thanx for the tip Dennis, great testimonial. i have found the Challenger / Cimex combo to fix some "problem" areas i had on several accounts...those salt/ice melt stained black traffic marks as you mentioned...tough to get out for us northerners :p

thanx --- Derek.
