Area Rug

On an area rug (not oriental) would it be better to use pads or the carpet brushes.

I never use brushes.. Only the pads. I have had good
luck doing this..

The soft brushes are ideal for the most delicate fibers, such as a prized wool oriental rug. For a synthetic throw rug, the beige FiberPlus pads will work nicely.
