Solvent Spotter

Which solvent spotter do you think works the best for large commercial accounts and why?

We have used citrus base for a long time but would like to move to a non residue type that can be used out of a spray bottle.

Encap-Spot is a non residual spotter with a fair amount of solvent built in. Just wipe the spot and blot with a terry towel. There's no need to rinse afterward because it's an encapsulating spotter. It's not as heavy of a solvent as a Citrus Solvent. But we've gotten a lot of positive feedback on this one for a wide range of spotting and odor conditions.

If you can identify the type of oily stains present you will have an easier time selecting the best solvent. Terpenes (such as the d'limonene in citrus solvents) work best on organic sources - animal fats, body oils, vegatable oils from cooking or industrial lubricants and so forth. Petroleum based solvents (aliphatic) work better on stains from petroleum sources - asphalt, parking lot sealer, paraffin waxes and lubricants.

Citrus Solv works well when you unsure about the source of the stian or when you have stains from a variety of sources. It is a blend of dlimonene and alaphatic solvents in an easy to rinse formulation.
