Solution Tank

When I was lifting my Cimex into the back of my Ford Expedition it tilted on to the side on the solution tank pretty heavily. I can move the solution tank
easily off the bottom bracket if I have a 1/2 gallon of solution in the tank and squeeze the trigger the whole tank lifts up instead of releasing solution.
Is this normal or should I put some adhesive to get it better attached to the bracket. Trouble is I don't know if this is normal or not.

This is why we recommend using ramps wherever possible. Invariably the tank will get pulled loose while lifting the machine otherwise.

But here's a simple fix...

1) Take off the top mounting bracket at the top of the tank (2 bolts).
2) Cut a small strip of rubber from a bicycle inner-tube.
3) Place the strip of rubber under where the bracket goes.
4) Reattach the bracket. Press downward on the tank as you tighten the bracket.

This will securely hold the tank down to the base where it belongs.

And then try to be extra careful loading it, so that you don't happen to lift by the plastic tank. It's not strong enough to support the weight of the machine. I know it's more challenging to do this in a smaller vehicle, so you'll need be extra careful. However this simple fix will take care of the problem and have you back up and running in no time.

Take care
