Hello all,
My mom has an area rug that has a bit of a dog body oder. I encapped it and it looks great but still has a bit of a smell if you get right on it. Any suggestions as to make it smell better?

Pete

Turn the rug over.. vac both sides.

YOu should be able to see the urine deposits in the backing.
After you prevac and clean.. i like to inject an enzyme and let it dwell. Some on here say TT oil,, I use Bac Out from Heacock.
works great.

We can't see the bottom of carpets,, but rugs allow us to examine and work from the bottom up. Take advantage of that opportunity.

I would have added about 20 drops of tea tree oil to the encap solution, Works for me. 80% of my reidential customer/clients have a pet (dog or cat) so I use lots of it.
