I've just bought one of these machines but it seems to have a mind of its own! is there a techneque to using it?

it goes anywhere it likes, how do you steer it?.

not sure but it MIGHT need a glider. that's the 1st thing i'd try. when OP'ing, it's sometimes best to let the machine go where it wants. meaning maybe you want to push/pull it in a north/south direction, but because of the "grain" of the carpet, the machine wants to go in an east/west direction. so turn your body and do that instead.

but i'd def get some gliders. maybe you can order some from Rick here at excellent supply...call and ask him.

thanx --- Derek.

EDIT : do you have a Cimex Mick?
