Thinking of a sprint

I am thinking of adding a sprint to my arsenal. I have some tile and grout jobs and alot of smaller carpet jobs. Does anyone own one of these bad boys and how do you like it. For tile and grout it scrubs and collects the water? Are there special attachments needed for this machine?

Ralph,

Adding a Sprint to your arsenal makes sense considering the type of work you described.

Tile & Grout = PERFECT. Yes, it scrubs and picks up the water into a small recovery tray. No need for a wet-vac. It gets the floor dry enough to walk on, and it will be completely dry in a minute or two (even on bumpy textured floors). If you're using a good T&G detergent (like the one that we're having formulated right now for this very purpose) you're gonna enjoy working with this machine. This is not a powerhouse restoration machine for T&G but it does a good job of cleaning a floor in a hurry.

You said that you do a lot of smaller carpet jobs, again = PERFECT. The name Sprint sums up this machine pretty well. It's quick and nimble. Lightweight, easy to operate. It's about as challenging as running an upright vacuum cleaner. If you watched the video, you can see how simple it is to work with. It's not as aggressive as the Cimex, but it does what it's intended for really well.

So what will you use a Sprint for? It's for small to medium size encap jobs. It's for pre-scrubbing and applying pre-spray, prior to HWE. It's for cleaning and drying various hard floor surfaces. It's for carrying up stairs. I've even heard a cleaner use it to apply and work in his protector. You'll find that it's a compact multi-purpose scrubber, capable of covering a number of tasks.

The only attachments I would consider would be variations on the brushes. It comes with the "standard" brushes. These are perfect for all commercial carpets , Berber carpets, and tile & grout. There are also soft brushes for more delicate residential carpets. And there are stiff brushes for aggressive tile cleaning.

I use the Sprint on every job I do. Great for a HWE pre-treat scrub. But the real use for this is Enacping residential. Fill with Hot DS and prepare to amaze. Also great for T&G.
