Green

December 21 2005 at 8:53 AM

Joe

Theres a lot of talk in the facility management magazines about "going green" What are they referring to? and how can we incorporate this into our marketing material?

Can we push encapsulation and/or the releasit products as "green"?

Thanks!

Joe

When we were doing alot of retail, we tried marketing it , at a 25% increase. Pioneer had a line of "green" floor chems. In two years we had 1 taker, An organic Kosher soybean crush plant. And they had to anyway. Was a way to collect an extra 25% from them. But in hard floors you couldn't be "green" the first trip, cause you had to use regular chems to get the old finish off, than use the green stuff to finish. Then the next trip you would be all "green"

Joe,
I think "green" means environmentally friendly and non toxic.
