Cinema seats?

I just got my foot in the door of a large cinema chain.
I did a Demo and the Manager pratically hired me on the
spot. How much would you charge to encap the seats in the cinema? Remember there are hundreds of seats in each.

About $5 per seat is all they're likely going to spend.
Depending on the soil load, you may need some HWE cleaning on these seats.
I'd do some testing on the seats to see what will be required, before presenting them with a price.

That's what helpers are for.

$5 a seat? Really? You think they will pay that much?

About $2.50 around here.

$2.00 to $3.00 a seat is what they want to pay around here.

Best way to do them is by foaming them with a bonnet mitt that has a few of those
green strips in it.

I was being generous at $5. My point is that you're not making good money ($5 tops) so plan accordingly. And the bottom line is that it's really worth more than $5 to deal with GRIMY theatre seats.

I normally get $2 per surface for large volume upholstery jobs. It breaks down like this: $2 for the seat, $2 for the back, $2 for the rear/backing, $2 for arms.

So a chair with 4 seperate surfaces would be $8. Whereas a stool with just one surface could be as low as $2 (but I'd likely round it up to $2.75 or $3).

Hope this math helps you.
