was surprised to see one of their trucks at a bank tonite as the Missus and i were leaving our last office cleaning acc't. think they were cleaning the Tile as they were pushing a self-contained walk-behind type machine...hope they weren't CC'ing anyways.

i thought the system they used for CC'ing was Encap, but by the looks of their website, they use something like Host?? http://rdweis.com/sol_maimil.html

or am i wrong?

thanx --- Derek

Derek,

Millicare uses their own product (like Host) called Capture. Cradle to the grave! They make it and they service it. And they scare their customers into believing that if you want to use anything else you can void the warranty. I question the legality of what they're doing.

We have a carpet cleaning customer that LOVES us. We clean all their carpet in multiple buildings (except for the Millican carpet). We can't cross the line of demarcation and clean any of their Millican carpet, because they're afraid they'll void their warranty. What a joke!

BTW there's a new warranty in effect on the Cimex machines. If you run any other detergent through it besides Releasit - you'll VOID the warranty. Plus the wheels will bind up, and the motor will ignite in flames.

Derek;

Just as a side note here, RD Weis Co has purchased over the years, many, many MITEY-ONE's 3.5 extractors from us. Therefore, they must have or offer a couple of different cleaning processes. (??)

Next time, take a peek in their truck! LOL.

Good Fortune to you and Rick;

RD Weis Co is Milikens largest Franchise. They are also a member of the Star Network in which they sell carpet. Randy Weis is a class act. They are most likly one of the single largest commercial carpet cleaning companies in the USA.

If you look at their Website you can see how he/they built the business. The answer is "People" good people that are treated right. I have nothing but respect for Mr. Weis.

"Commercial Only"

Thanks, Derek.

I also do not have a bad word to say about RD Weis Co, and/or Randy Weis as well. For years, they have always treated us with pure respect and have always been very professional, from the top brass all the way down to the little guy in the back room.

Good Fortune to all;

Telling it like it used to be..

15 years ago, we did alot of Marriott hotels @ $18.00 a room in the Atlanta market. It was all good work, but we do not do any hotels now. We have never done any apartments (in the Atl. market there are at least 25 companys doing nothing but apts.) I am sure if you specialize in that segment, it can be profitable, it is just not for us.

Weis has the high end of the carpet market, no doubt.

It's hard to look at their marketing and think they are doing the industry anything but a service. (When my website grows up, I want it to look like theirs!)

But the implication that Milliken carpet (a very high end commercial product that you hafta want, since it is 5-10 times the alternative cheapo stuff) can only be cleaned by a Millicare franchisee is enough to make me chuckle.

Folks, it is carpet, not brain tissue. There is no logical reason that Capture is better than other methods and if you really want to, you can buy Capture at Home Depot.

But if you're here at this board, you already know a better way to do it anyway, so why would you want to?
