| I don't remember if I posted about this in the past or not, but I think it is important enough to share. I have a local CCer friend who uses this a lot and I have even heard other local people talk about this nice card they recieved from this CCer. He told me this has been his most sucessful new customer getter. Immediately after his cleaning he mails the customer a nice "thank you" card with five $2.00 bills (he always uses two dollar bills as they seem to remember them) His hand written verse goes something like; I want "Two" thank you and if you like what we did, I would like you "Two" recommend me "Two" you friends and neighbors. I also want you "Two" have lunch on me. Why don't you give it a try and let me know if it works for you. There is just something special about opening a card and seeing five two dollar bills in it. He told me he tried different denomonations but this one seem to work the best. He also said to use hand written envolopes and hand written cards. I noticed that hand written anything seems to be a thing of the past. Remember in the residential market we are dealing with women and they still like the personal touch. |

Hi Ray,
That was a GREAT Post! Have you tried this yourself with customers? I have been sending custys hand written thank you notes, after the job, but have only been sending those who have referred me work like either a $10.00 gift card or two $5.00 instant lotto cards, as a Thank You for their referral. I should probably start sending each customer something though, as each one, treated with care and dignity will be a longtime custy for life! I Thank You for this idea, as usual.
Best Regards,
Aaron Baum

No< I have not tried to do this as we are just able to handle the customers we have now w/o expanding, and at this point in my life I am thankful for all that we have and am trying to have more free time with my family. After 51 years of full time work, I am having a really hard time trying to slow down. I just love to work, I just can't help it. |
