Yes, they are both made by the same manufacterer in Austria. They cost more from Whittaker and now you have to buy a package when you order the machine from Whittaker, they will not sell it seperatly. The "bundle" includes 5 cases of Crystal Dry, 1 case of spotter, pump up sprayer and a stand up brush. So I would order from Rick as he does not force you to buy a "bundle" just to get the machine. So if you just want a 15" machine it will cost $2195.00 plus shipping from Whittaker for the bundle.

GLS brushes

I don't think the brushes that come with the pilemaster are the same ones that come from whittaker. I like the whittaker brushes better. Rick can you get the same brushes that whittaker uses? Whittakers brushes are poly not nylon which stay stiff when wet, nylon tends to soften up when wet because nylon absorbs more water. I have found that the (non) wittaker brushes tend to pull more fiber fuzz out of the carpet leaving it all over on residential carpets. The machine has a hard time picking it up even with the collection hoppers on. For some reason (maybe the design of the brushes) the whittaker brushes don't tend to do that. I have both types of brushes and like the whittaker brushes best.
