I will be encapping for the first time next week when i receive my releasit and punch. Its on a trased berber in a trashy rental. There is a red stain in the back bedroom, should i treat it with a red stain product first or will the releasit be able to handle it. Thanks in advance for the help.

Use a red stain product first, then encap like normal. Normal spotting procedures should be done in front of the cleaning just like when you're doing HWE cleaning. As you perform spotting, if you will wipe up the bulk of your spotter with a terrry towel, Releasit can typically handle encapsulating the remaining spotter that's left behind.

Since it's a "trashed" rental: Take your time. Mix the Encap-Clean DS with the hottest water possible. Mix it at 6 ounces per gallon instead of 4. Avoid the urge to over-wet the carpet. You just need to apply enough juice to wet out the fiber. Make several slow dry passes providing plenty of agitation to the fiber. Prepare to be impressed

If it is really trashed, try prespraying with Punch and then encapping with DS - awesome!!

Try Red vanish,it is from a competitorers(sp ?vacaway) of Ricks' but is phenomenal! Iused the wool safe version on Wed. for a blueberry smoothie and that saved me and the homeowner!
