wood floor and the Cimex

Richard

I have been doing RX For Wood Foors refinishing system for some time now. I use a 2 speed rotary and a RED pad to abraid the old finish B4 making repairs and applying the poly coats.
Does anyone do a simular thing using the Cimex? If so what pads do you use and what kind of results?
Thanks,
Rich

I'm quessing you are going to Bane for the class.
Craig Jasper is a great teacher. I've taken multiple class from Jasper including RX for Wood Floors.
Ask his opinion on the Cimex - thanks.
I've been doing more wood floors each year. Not every floor is suited for the process though.
I'd be happy to tell you what I know.

I do annual cleaning of hardwood dance floor. Process uses Cimex to clean followed by high PSI rinse. While they are not concerned with refinishing the floor, have noticed the process leaves the floor clean enough to be refinished easily with sanding or screening. Have pictures on my website but they are not for faint of heart as you will see me soaking the wood. Not to worry have yet to fir the wood and wet to dry in around 30 - 40 minutes. Cimex saved several hours on the process from previous year.
