2 Cimex questions.

Ron

I was wondering, how careful do you have to be with the Cimex when moving it around, such as in and out of the van, truck etc.?

I would also like a really good explanation of why is it that after I clean the carpets in a walkway in an office, (the carpets is not trashed) the carpet looks clean. But, I can take a white terry towel and rub the carpet and the towel get dirty?
Hey Rick, If this happens should I wait and do the carpet again a week or so later.

Thanks

Hi Ron,

The Cimex is pretty rugged. It can be loaded and unloaded, with reasonable care, from a truck or van without a problem. In fact our guys are rough as heck and our machines hold up pretty well. The tank can be banged loose if they're rough with it, but it's easy to secure if that occurs.

The reason you can see a visible appearance improvement with the encapsulation method is because the soil is no longer visible on the carpet's surface. Therefore it looks CLEAN. Excellent! However soil is still present in the carpet, so a terry towel might be able to detect that soil. When we clean with the encapsulation method, we're applying an effective soil management method. And as we maintain a carpet with encapsulation we're bringing the soil load under control. Then the routine vacuuming proceeds to recover the encapsulated soil. Of course as you know, we can always wipe a "cleaned" carpet with a white towel following any cleaning method and still pull up more soil. Encapsulation is perfect for what it's intended for - taking care of commercial carpets. It enables commercial carpet cleaners to keep their carpets looking consistently great at a very profitable rate. And the carpets typically become easier and easier to maintain as one works with the system. So that's what you should be able to expect with this system.
