My Dr. office has a tennis ball size spot of oil from a door pistion type thing. It dripped down from the top of the door. It is on a dark brown berber. He does not need the whole office cleaned at this time just that spot. He has called his old carpet cleaner about this and the last time they charged him 90.00 for the same spot.

I am planning on doing this as a feebee for him.

What would work and how without brining out the heavy machines(15' cimex or challenger).

Hi Joe,

Encap-Spot and a towel would take care of that. Or you could use your Challenger with Encap-Punch or Encap-Clean. I've had great success with the Challenger for tough spot cleaning. The Cimex will also work for this using Encap-Clean. The Cimex works especially well on tough spots with the 8" Cimex bonnets (unfortunately we don't have smaller bonnets for the 15" Cimex). Absorption of the challenging spot is accomplished with the bonnets. I'd also recommend mixing the detergent stronger than normal and spend plenty of time scrubbing the spot, at least a couple of minutes. Any of these suggestions should get 'er done for you.
