Photo of a DIRTY carpet

Rick Gelinas

Here's a picture that one of our customers (Bob Forsythe) sent me showing the results he got using RELEASIT and his CIMEX...

And to think... some people call this "interim cleaning". LOL

Nice job Bob!

hear that noise?

March 10 2006, 4:40 PM

it's the sound of the lurkers scurrying off to their respective forums to post about the abominations of Cimex Encap'ing! :P

well notice before you run off that those aren't FP pads underneath the 'Mex, but are Rick's Cimex Bonnets which DO pull up Plenty-O-Dirt (obviously).

great pic and it shows-off the bene's of your bonnet's Rick. i use mine on stubborn traffic lanes after scrubbing with the FP pads, with a noticeable difference.

thanx --- Derek.

Uh - Oh

March 10 2006, 8:04 PM

Now, if anyone was doing hot water extraction and taking photo's to show how good a job they'd done...............

The carpet would have been pre-sprayed, when it's wet, it looks darker.

Clean a few strokes, really see the difference, quick, take a photo.

Don't get on yer high horse yet fella's, I also dabble in hot water extraction. LOL

Have done for too long.

With the 'Mex;, the carpet is only damp after you have laid solution down and scrubbed.

So, as I see it, the above photo is an honest representation of the method and products used.

Now I'll sit back and await the flack from the steamed up guys and the rag heads..LOL

Cheers,

Shorty.

Derek, you're right, I did have the bonnets on. Don't remember why but, on bad traffic lanes, a follow-up with the bonnets picks-up some more dirt and also helps with the drying.

Rick, this was an interem cleaning...once every 5 years whether it needs it or not!

The pass looks good.

To Shorty

if you leave a carpet wet after cleaning somthing is done wrong

There is no need to soak a carpet no matter what method you are doing.
the link below is before and after on a resturant we did using the Steamin Demon. YES the carpet was dry when i took the after pics

I love Encaps clean in the right situations but as any method it is not a one size fits all cure
