Went to change the belt on my cimex but can't figure out if the drive pulley is a "belt tentioner" like one under the hood.If so,how do I adjust it without damaging anything?

There is no tensioner. Belts normally last about a year of good usage. They're kind of like a vacuum cleaner belt, they'll eventually begin to slip. It's a simple item to replace. The cost is $82 including shipping when the time comes to replace the belt. If you need assistance with let me know.

I already have it...the replacement belt.I'm wondering about getting the new one on.Is there no way to create slack? Is there a specific way to get a new belt on?

It's easy to replace a belt...

1. Remove the white plate underneath the machine (phillips screws).
2. Remove the old belt.
3. Put the new belt over the center drive spindle first.
4. Wrap the belt around two of the pulleys.
5. Then work the belt over the third pulley as you rotate the drive deck. Basically the same way you put a chain onto a bicycle.
6. Put the white plate back on the machine.

Quick and simple
