Release it Questions...

March 28 2006 at 9:42 PM
Jeremy "The Infidel Invader"

Hello all! I'm a little lazy for the search feature so I thought I'd ask you give me some info on the wonderful product Mr. Gelinas has mixed for us. Thanks in advance for the replies.

1)If you mix it up on Tuesday is it stil good on Saturday or will it lose potency?

2)Is it freeze thaw stable?

3)Are there any benefits to using soft water with the product?

4)Can it be boosted for higher solvency for increased grease cutting?

5)Will pre-spray, post spotting or pre spotting alter the delicate chemistry?

6)Has any one seen Jimmy Ladwig? I found a burning paper bag on my porch with the case of Release-it! lol

Thanks again.

Tuesday to Saturday... You should be OK. Just top off the tank with fresh juice and it will work fine.

2)Is it freeze thaw stable?

Yes it is.

3)Are there any benefits to using soft water with the product?

Soft water will make it foam more and it may improve the cleaning a little too. But you'll find that Releasit performs well with all different kinds of water conditions all around the country (as well as Canada and Australia too).

4)Can it be boosted for higher solvency for increased grease cutting?

No. If you add a concoction of chemicals you'll blow out the crystallization.

5)Will pre-spray, post spotting or pre spotting alter the delicate chemistry?

If you want to pre-spray (which is not commonly needed) you can pre-spray with Encap-Clean (the mixture rate is on the jug) or you can use Encap-Punch as a pre-spray. Encap-Punch works great! If you need to perform small spotting applications (for red, coffee, gum, rust, etc) go ahead and do it like normal, blot up as much of the spotter as you can, and then just encap over it as if it wasn't there. The small amount of spotter residue is not a problem for Releasit. BTW, Encap-Spot works as a good all purpose spotter and it's very compatible with the Releasit detergents.

6)Has any one seen Jimmy Ladwig? I found a burning paper bag on my porch with the case of Release-it! lol

“Yeah. Well, last night he kills a guard and breaks out of the Trenton Home for the Criminally Insane. Ten minutes later he cops a Maserati Bora... Totaled it, a block away.”

that if you pour some Releasit down each of your drains (bath, kitchen, deep sink, etc.) once a week, it will keep the plumbing clog free. LOL

And don't forget, a few weeks ago someone said they used it to clean their wife!
