I Hate My Cimex, or Is It Rick????

Shorty

Did one of my monthly accounts this afternoon (Flight Centre).

Arrived at 17:25, started vacuuming at 17:30

Job finished, carpet groomed, lights out, door locked at 18:05

All for a measly $110.00 which will be electronically transferred into my account on Friday.

Why wasn't I told about this machine 25 years ago??

Why did Rick wait so long to perfect DS??

Now I'm an old flirt (or something) doing a young man's job easily.

To think I used to bust my gut, lugging in my potty and all the other equipment, spend three times longer to get the job done.

Man, getting water in a shopping centre ain't easy.

Still have slightly damp, smelly carpets when the centre opened next day, (the air con; goes off at 18:00).

And all for the same money, actually it was $22.00 less, I put the rate up when I got the 'Mex;.

There's still life in these old bones yet.

Thanks Rick.

Cheers,

Shorty.

Yes this would have been great when we werre doing alot of Mall work. Carrying 5 gallon buckets 1/2 a mile through a mall at midnight just wasn't that much fun. Pluss carry the dirty back out. And get call next day how they don't look any better. Did a few with the swing machine and encap just before we quit malls, almost changed my mind.

Cimex

We're having a local dist. do a Cimex demo at one of our housing affiliates. They have over 100,000 sq. ft. of carpeting each and are using self contained portables and bonneting. Buying a Cimex is a no brainer to me! I'll have one soon myself!

Welcome to the club...Mine has literally cut my on the job time in half. Finshed up my movie theater last night. Total time? 3 days. Previously, 6 days. Its AMAZING how much time I save by not having to run hoses, fill water, dump water, move the van, etc., etc. Not to mention my cost to operate and overhead associated with this account went from $240 down to less than $60.

Shorty I know what you mean. We did a job at the City of Humble, TX offices on Friday. 3000 sf. We were there one hour and 15 minutes. That included talking to the assistant city manager. We charged .15 a sf for the job and so I think we did real well. To bad I did not know about a Cimex 14 years ago when I started.

PS We got pictures on our website of the job. Look under carpet cleaning. www.pearsoncarpetcare.com
