Hello,

I have been asked to clean a doctors office carpets… but they want an antimicrobial agent applied after we clean. (Post)

Will it be OK to use microban, On top of Releasit?

Could I just add an antimicrobial to the Cimex tank solution?

Or should I just HWE?

Microban has a specific carpet sanitzer that will not void warranties, all other Microban products are cationic and will void the carpet warranty. Sunbelt rentals carries it I saw it in their catalog.

I would apply it 48 hours or more after an encap cleaning.

Microban would adversely affect the crystallization property of Releasit

My suggestion would be to spike your Releasit with 20 - 30 drops of Tea Tree oil per gallon of Releasit. This will add a good measure of disinfecting to your cleaning.
