Encap/Padcap residential

Richard

I'm averaging a very satisfactory $'s per hr on CGD - although I'm not fond of evening work it is good income and great results.
I use a Cimex and Releasit DS with great results. I also own a 2 speed rotary.
My question to Everyone (or anyone)who encap or padcap residential is - for residential - how? what machine/pad,juice? and what ever advise you would be gracious enough to share.

Thank you

Bottom line Richard, I use the Cimex only for commercial GD.
Residential is for the HWE truckmount or port.
Having both available dictates choice for advantage...

I use a buffer w/solution tank (rotary)with a red scrub pad that can be used on tile floors. The pad is aggressive and gets up the dirt and doesn't ruin the carpets. I use the competition's chemical but I like it. Nothing against Ricks chemical but I met with the big shots in Orlando a few years ago from their company and they sold me on their product at a small outdoor show. Rick pushes Realse-it cause they make it. Use whatever works best for you.

I have started using the Challenger on residential with great success. You have to be more careful on residential due to tip blooming potential.

Releasit has never let me down. No need to shop and test lots of chems when the one you have works great. Can't be that much better than releasit if it is.

Richard, I have been encapping residential for over a year now. Frankly I am a little tired of the comments and silly remarks about it when I post on this subject. Especially the one "It is for commercial only". It works better than expected when done correctly. It is very fast and builds cheerleaders faster than you can service them. If you will e-mail me @raymoody@charter.net, your number I will call you on Monday or Tuesday and explain how I do it

i too have and will continue to encap resi work with great success.i also use other solutions like Procyon which isn't Encap...depends on my mood and / or the job.

Charles being that this thread is about residential, i HOPE you are not using a RED floor pad on resi carpet.

i wouldn't even try it on CGD unless it was on it's "last leg" and replacement was imminent. but that's just me, i don't recommend it to anyone.

thanx --- Derek.
