Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if the fibre pad is more effective with the Challenger? Do others use them just for commmercial or for both commercial and residential? What are your experiences?

Thanks for your help,

Jo

fiber plus pads are for encap/prescrub, the cotton bonnets are for bonnet cleaning/absorbtion of the soil load . you can either use them in tandom or you can use them as stand alone.it all depends on the job .fiber type soil load but that challenger system is a real nice unit id use it post encap or stand alone on residential carpet .and if you use it post encap on residential carpet spray down a fine mist of all fiber rinse and then use your cotton bonnets to put a soft hand feel to the fabric instead of it drying hard/stiff prior to the customer vacuming to make it feel a lil softer lol give it a shot

to use a "fiber rinse" (is that an acid rinse?) after Encap'ing might foul up the Encap process. correct me if i'm wrong Rick G.

That was my first thought Derek. We'll let Rick give the expert answer however I would think it would.

Hope things are going well for you Derek.

An acid fiber rinse is not necessary. There should not be a discernible feel to the hand of the carpet if you're using Releasit Encap-Clean or Encap-Punch according to the directions.

With the Challenger or any other OP machine...
Use FiberPlus pads for encap scrubbing.
Use Cotton Pads or Thin One bonnet for absorption cleaning.
