| First off, Thanks for the pep talk the other night Rick. I never would get that type of service from Jon Don or anyone else.
The berber job went well today: I did two rms resi work. One room was an old style shag type carpet, I never seen anything so ugly in all my life (except my father in laws plumbers crack).
The shag came up so so but the customer was happy, then went into the room with the berber style. She pre vaced and moved all the stuff out of the room before I arrived. I should have listened to Darwin and brought the 15' cimex with me. The Challenger was like riding a bucking horse( the floor was not level) the room used to be a grage and they turned it into a family room and never leveled the floor. I got a good workout doing that rug let me tell you. However it came out great, used encap punch and had the pads wet but not soaking and went over with a dry couple of pads and it looked good. Home owner was very pleased.
So all in all a good day and a good amount of mooola for an hour and 15 worth of work and 15 of it was small talk with customer and kids. |

good job i did a job today with the cimex and cobbs encapsulate cleaner on a beige plush. kinda clean i used the encapsulate cleaner because it doesnt change the hand feel of the carpet. so i used the fiber plus pads and presprayed the encapsulate cleaner down with my rocket sprayer .let dwell 5 minutes then began to scrub away lol carpets came out pretty good it all looked blended one shade you couldnt see where the furniture was .so then i said to myself let me bring in my truckmount and see what the difference would be rinsing it out .and let me tell you there was hardly any difference at all .i was surprised so all i had to do was scrub in my encap cleaner and collect my $$$ lol learning lesson for me who says encap connot be stand alone or bonnet cleaning? |

Joe,
Would you take that 15" Cimex up and down stairs? I think it's 84 lbs. |

I guess if I had to do it I would. I know if I would have used it today I would have cut the time by 30 mins. |
