blacktop sealer

I am new to this forum but not to carpet cleaning. But in all the years that I have been cleaning I have yet to find anything that would phase blacktop sealer tracked in on carpet. You clean and clean and you still have that light brownish tint. I just bid a new account that would be great to have, but they have this problem. I will be using the Cimex. Any suggestions?

That is a challenging one as it is designed to protect asphalt like a shellac and may not be that easy to cut, if at all.

We have a lot of oil field service companies in our area and I know that we have had great success with Releasit on the tan from oil that is normally left behind. We just bump up the DS to 6 oz. per gallon and prepray with Punch and it comes out 100%.

Rick Thode nailed it.
Give that formula a try and see how it turns out.
I'd also add this, make PLENTY of slow passes using Max pads.
Let us know how you make out.

Just a little extra

I'm nervous posting after the guy who is the "Guru" Rick.
But I would bump up the prespray to 15 oz or more per gal of the punch. Cuts thru the crap quicker. Just my 2 cents.

It's funny ..I just had this scenerio last week on a demo for 8 children centers. The owner explanined that they had the parking lot resealed and everyone was tracking it in. I presprayed heavily with punch and used my cimex with max pads. I mixed ds at 8oz per gal. Final result I got the call yesterday. When can u start... It works
