CRI Seal of Approval

Way to go Rick! How much did that cost?

I'm not to happy with that program. Seems alot of products to be approved would never get used by most cleaners.

Not knocking the cimex or releasit, firm believer. It just seems to be a way for them to get money from people with no real benefit.

Thanks Greg!

CRI has some very stringent testing protocols.
According to Cary Mitchell's presentation at Connections,
a high percentage of chemicals aren't able to pass the tests.
We feel honored that Releasit's been awarded with the Seal of Approval.

Don't underestimate the CRI Seal of Approval. Moody's Carpet Care was awarded the Seal of Approval Oct. 15th 2002, allowing us to wear the red/white and blue shoulder patch. It has allowed us to get a lot of carpet dealers to recommend us. In a letter from CRI it stated that Moody's Carpet Care will further seperate itself from its competition. I could never figure out why more CCers did not participate in the program.

Seal of Approval Program explained..

May 9 2006, 8:53 PM

The average American has thousands of choices when it comes to purchasing and installing carpet, and purchasing products to clean carpet with. Typically, however, the consumer has no way way of knowing who offers professional, high-quality services and products until now....

Etc., etc.

CRI Seal of Approval

May 10 2006, 6:55 PM

Here's the CRI's Fact Sheet...
http://www.excellent-supply.com/CRI_SOA_Factsheet.pdf

And also the CRI's FAQ Paper...
http://www.excellent-supply.com/CRI_SOA_FAQs.pdf

Note what CRI states on their FAQ Paper...

"What does it mean if a product earns the Seal of Approval?

It means the product is considered to be a superior performer because many of the products that are tested are actually ineffective. So, The Seal is meant to distinguish superior carpet cleaning products from those that do not remove stains or soil and that may even harm the carpet’s appearance or performance."

Therefore we're proud to have been awarded the CRI Seal Of Approval!

Still wondering how an individual local c.c. company like Rambo's applies for and receives the Seal Approval. Everything I read in what Rick referred to dealt with a cleaning PRODUCT's receiving the Seal.

The CRI Seal of Approval program does not currently cover carpet cleanig companies (as far as I'm aware).

It addresses chemicals, equipment, vacuums, and cleaning systems only.

Rambo, if this is the case, how did you get a CRI Seal of Approval letter for your company? (Inquiring minds want to know.)
