Encap DS or Encap-Punch is better?

I heard that Encap-Punch is very strong and approved by the CRI, so the Encap-Punch is better or the Encap-DS, for cleaning CGD with Pads and the Cimex?

Yes Chris, Encap-Punch is strong, you're right about that. However it's not as well suited for scrubbing with the Cimex as Encap-Clean is. Encap-Clean (or Encap-Clean DS) would be the better option for scrubbing with the Cimex, because of its light foaming action. The foaming action makes it easier to visibly see where you're cleaning. That light foam indicator is a perfect match for encap scrubbing.

The CRI is currently testing pre-sprays, HWE detergents, and spotters. Encap shampoos don't fall into any of the CRI's current test categories. Encap-Punch is a pre-spray/HWE rinse product. Hence CRI's testing of Encap-Punch according to their present standards for a "pre-spray" yielded excellent results.

Yet you're probably aware that Encap-Punch is more than just an encap pre-spray. It's also a terrific encap HWE rinse detergent, and it's an excellent encap bonnet cleaner too. We worked long and hard on developing this one. And even after its initial release, we went back and tweaked it some more. In the end, it has turned out to be a kick butt product with good cleaning power and exceptional encapsulation properties.

Encap-Punch has more solvents and surfactants than even Encap-Clean has. It was designed to perform as a pre-spray, which requires strong cleaning power. However we also had to balance the solvents and surfactants with the Crystalon3 polymer to get the formulation to crystallize as it should for encapsulation. This wasn't easy! After months of failed attempts, we finally struck upon Encap-Punch. From a technical standpoint, it's the most sophisticated formulation in our line-up.

Encap-Punch works well as a pre-spray/HWE-detergent combo. And it works well as a pre-spray for Encap-Clean too. It works well as a bonnet cleaner. It can even be used to scrub with the Cimex, if you mix it a bit stronger at 12 oz per gallon (which will provide enough of the light foaming effect that you need for encap scrubbing).

Needless to say, I'm proud of Encap-Punch! And I'm honored to see that it's been recognized by the CRI and has been awarded with the CRI Seal of Approval.

Excellent info Rick.
I have a big demo of 500 SF on Thursday, and I was wondered what will make a better impression, to use Encap-DS OR Encap-Punch w/12oz dilution.
I know it's kind big demo given away, but the cleaning is about 10.000 per shot.

Can Encap-Punch be metered in thru a Truckmount? Or is it better suited for portables? If it can be used in a Truckmount how does it dilute to make a 5 gallon truckmount jug? Can it handle high Temperatures?

Thanks,
Tom

Rick, don't forget Punch can be used with any OP system like the Challenger (unless you already mentioned it...i didn't see it).

but for running thru the Mex, i can verify EncapClean works better ~

thanx --- D.

Tom, The truckmount dilution for Encap-Punch is 40 ounces of Encap-Punch per 5 gallons of stock solution. And all the data I have indicates that Encap-Punch works just fine in high heat truck-mounts. I've talked with our blender, and the chems we're using in Encap-Punch are all stable at higher heats.
