Who are the big players in the commercial market - i'm talking doing big office buildings...So far I came up with Jani-king and servicemaster. What other ones do you guys know of?

The reason I ask is I want to find out more about them and see how they approach their custys, their marketing tactics, etc. Basically, I want to know my competition better...If we are in this business, we should know what our competition is up to.

Unicco, half a billion or so. American Building Maintenance, Aetna, American Cleaning, Suburban, Sodexho, Encompass, and a slew of still big but only regional companies.

It's more a 'convenience sale' in my opinion. In other words, Unicco already has access to the office every night to clean the whole skyscraper. Who will get the call to do carpet? They will, it's the easy default. People rent space in office towers for convenience, they don't get outside vendors unless something is seriously wrong with the easy choice.

But I'd love to do more of them, since the jobs are not that difficult.
