at least I thought so. I have gouged my skull for the last time today on those *%$#*@ rake holders. For many years now our vans have always had the Grandi Groomer rake holders on the inside roof of our vans. Useally one for the rake and one for the moisture detector. I don't know how many times over the years I have cut my scalp on those. Today I was unloading a dehumidifier and hit one hard (6 stitches) Tomorrow they are coming out. Am I the only one with this problem?

No mate, you're not.

I did it maybe three times 'til I moved the flamin' thing, the rake that is.

It is still possible for me to occassionaly get it, but very rare.

Having a melanoma softened skull makes one very aware of anything that may harm me.

I have two moisture sensors in the van, both in the front cab.

One, the older style, is in clips going along the panel behind me, the other, a series 11, is kept in an upright piece of conduit behind the drivers seat.

I also mount my perforating roller in the same fashion, in conduit.

Hey Ray don't complain too much, at least you have the protection of HAIR. This ol' bald head of mine is like a magnet for branches, and shelves, and stuff in the van, you name it. My head is always being peeled open on something

Sorry to hear about your incident with the rake. Maybe you could position the rake with the teeth side up.

I have a holder in my van too. I'm 6'3 and have never hit my head on mine (watch me hit my head on it this week).

I have only 2 suggestion's tho.

THROW AWAY THE RAKE!
GET A GRANDI BRUSH!

I swear my referrals have went up 50% since I started using the grandi brush to groom.

did it knock any of those rocks loose??? LOL

I bet yore wife put the cast iron corn bread pan to ya, the rake holder is a cover story!!!
